I was at a seminar the other day and an attorney shared that a mentor of his told him as a new attorney. “Don’t doubt the incompetence of opposing counsel.”

The other day someone walked up to me and robotically asked me “Give me your elevator pitch.” It was very enthusiastic.
I smiled and honestly laughed a little. I am a nurse, not a saleswoman.

I always enjoy when I can shake hands and have face-to-face conversations. This quarter I was fortunate to see so many of my clients in person and meet some new friends as well. I learn so much from these informal conversations. Some shared their positive outcomes with me with cases I worked on with them.
